I have called this 'new selling' because I believe that a new way of selling is needed in this climate. The internet has taken over and the way people sell things has become electronic. Long gone are the days of putting your bike in the paper and waiting for lady luck to intervene - the one person that is looking to buy your bike on that day!
eBay seems to be the way to sell things or local sites like Gumtree. You put your information in; what you want to sell; and where you are. It works for me every time. Everything I have put in seems to shoot out very quickly, where would we all be without the internet?
This is also true on selling from shops. The trend now seems to be not to open an expensive shop on the high street with all its overheads, headaches, and stock. But, instead to put your wares online - an 'internet shop' with very little overheads and minimal stock requirements. If you are really on the ball you can work without holding stock at all by using a distribution outlet - there are a lot of them to choose from nowadays. The beauty of this 'new selling' - you can simply and effectively get your goods and or services to people worldwide instantly. It really is a global marketplace.
Lets touch a bit more on the internet and the way it seems people are making a killing online, as I said in the last paragraph it is a global marketplace. You can advertise a product to the world from one page and let them purchase it on that same page from the comfort of their own home. Within days they receive it or in some instances download it there and then. This is really a new selling experience. The only reason there are not more people moving into this sort of new selling is that it seems too difficult for most technophobes to get their head around, so they keep away.
